We feature Dutch hood blocks designed by a Master Hoodmaker, that has devoted well over 20 years to his craft and the result has been a hood block that is far superior to any hood block on the market today. We have paid complete attention to function, design and durability. We offer a complete range of blocks from jack Merlin to Female Golden Eagle. If you are not a hoodmaker these hood blocks are great for storing and re-blocking your hood when it is not in use! They will help to maintain the shape of your hood when you have stepped on, sat on, lost in the rain or forgot in your hawking bag. WOW! No more having to buy new hoods. If you are buying for your bird may we suggest that you purchase a 3 size range to get the absolute best fit.

The Dutch hood we make for you is triple stitched with waxed linen thread, a thin piece of leather is placed over the stitching to both restrict light leaks and hold the hood together. Stitching that is not sealed will, in time, allow light to leak through. Leather by nature has a tendency to shrink and pull with moisure thus shortening the life of your hood. Our hoods are made from the finest garmet grade kangaroo legally harvested from Australia. They are dyed and hand finished with a moisure resistant coating. Traces are sewn "genuine" Gortex or kangaroo. Lizard skin eye pieces upon request.
